Type: Image-Documentary Client: Deutscher Landwirtschaftsverlag Agency: Cineworx / Self
In a span of 6 years we portrayed 186 famers all around Germany, Austria, Switzerland and Luxembourg for CeresAward / Deutscher Landwirtschaftsverlag. What a ride!
Harsh weather conditions, multi-country-routing and a lot of paperwork were only a few of the challenges we faced on that journey. But: We loved every second of it!
What did we create?
Routing, talent-briefing and editorial work
186 short-portraits of farmers
6 Imagefilms
HiRes-renders for playback in cinemas
Accompanying photo-production
Mobile Content
Graphic Design: 3D-Animation of Logos
Voiceover-casting and related texts
30 Shooting Days - 4 countries
To master the challenge of shooting 30 portraits in 30 days, an excessive amount of pre-production is necessary. Especially, when the shootings take place in 4 different countries. So we developed a strategy and schedule to ensure a fluent production-process.
Beyond that, we managed to deliver a 1:30-Min. rough edit at the end of each shooting day. This made the approval-process very easy for the client.
3D-Animation & Graphic Design
To give the movies a distinct and unique look, we developed new intros and outros for CeresAward. This included a 3D-Animation of their logo as well as defining the overall look of all used graphics.
In addition, we designed custom lower-thirds to consecutively implement the look into all movies.
Accompanying photo production
Deutscher Landwirtschaftsverlag is primarily a print medium – of course with all corresponding online channels. That’s why the client asked us not only to create movies, but also to produce a variety of photos of each farmer.
The synergy between photo and video is obvious: We could not only reduce travel expenses but also arrange a roadcrew of multitalents: Capable of generating high end photo- and videocontent.
