When Same-Deutz-Fahr (SDF) planned to launch their brand new “Series 8” tractor, they contacted us to produce the corresponding photo- and videocontent for print and digital media.
It’s a lot of fun driving a powerful workhorse like the Deutz Series 8 over a crop-field, in a quarry or on the street. And it’s even more fun filming it!

Product-Shilouettes for Teaser Videos
It was a special and enjoyable assignment to create various teasers with silhouettes of the new Deutz Series 8 tractor. In order to achieve the high-contrast look, we found a big showroom and fully darkened it. This was the perfect location to light up the reflective details of the chassis.
The teaser videos (see video above) consisted of silhouette footage, scenes with an actor and footage we shot outdoors. Combined with the sounddesign it gives a glimpse of what the audience could expect from the new product.
Photo Campaign
We also covered photography on all scenes while being on this 4-day-shooting. The images then were aesthetically retouched and delivered to the client for a broad usage in print / billboard / POS / online.
Our aim was to recreate realistic and tangible situations with the Series 8 tractor. In order to do this, we had a cast of 3 actors to design different everyday scenarios.
